Leading provider of energy efficiency solutions awarded coveted spot on Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s framework, covering key lots and subdivisions.
Eco Providers, a prominent player in the energy efficiency sector, is proud to announce its successful bid for a place on the Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s (GMCA) Net Zero Housing Retrofit Framework. The company has been awarded contracts across all lots and subdivisions tendered for, including Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, and Insulation (EWI, CWI, Loft).
This achievement solidifies Eco Providers’ position as a trusted partner in delivering large-scale retrofit projects across the North West and beyond.
The £1bn framework, spanning four years, aims to support the retrofit and low-carbon upgrade of homes throughout Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas. By securing a place on this framework, Eco Providers is now well-positioned to collaborate with local authorities, housing providers, and other public sector bodies to drive the region’s net-zero ambitions forward.
Tom Myers, Managing Director of Eco Providers, expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity: “We are thrilled to have been selected as a key delivery partner for the GMCA Net Zero Housing Retrofit Framework. This achievement is a testament to our team’s expertise, commitment to sustainability, and track record of successfully delivering energy efficiency projects. We look forward to working closely with the GMCA and its partners to create greener, more energy-efficient homes for the people of Greater Manchester and beyond.”
The GMCA, established in 2017, is a pioneering combined authority comprising ten Greater Manchester councils and the Mayor. Its mission is to drive the region’s economic growth, improve public services, and give local people more control over issues that affect their lives. The Net Zero Housing Retrofit Framework is a critical component of the GMCA’s ambitious plan to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2038, 12 years ahead of the national target.
Eco Providers’ success in securing a place on this framework, along with its existing partnerships with PfH and Fusion21, positions the company as a go-to provider for public sector organisations seeking to directly award retrofit measures through their preferred framework.
As the UK continues to prioritise sustainability and energy efficiency, Eco Providers remains committed to delivering innovative solutions that contribute to a greener future for all. The company’s participation in the GMCA Net Zero Housing Retrofit Framework marks a significant milestone in its journey to help create a more sustainable built environment.
