About us

Eco Providers specialises in energy-efficient home improvements, including home insulation, heating upgrades and renewables. We are looking for fully qualified Solar PV Electricians to join our team.

The role

You will work on a varied range of domestic projects nationwide, installing, testing and maintaining solar PV systems alongside our installers and roofing teams. The role includes stop-out bonuses and accommodation when working away.

Company base: Dutton Manor Mill, Clitheroe Road, Dutton, Preston, PR3 2YT.

Work location: On the road, nationwide. Willingness to travel 75% of the time is required.

Your responsibilities

• Install and wire solar PV systems, including AC and DC connections.
• Complete consumer unit upgrades and install protection devices where required.
• Install and connect inverters, isolators, generation meters and monitoring systems.
• Carry out testing, inspection and certification, including EICs and EICRs where applicable.
• Carry out fault finding and maintenance on existing PV systems.
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671, MCS standards and health and safety requirements.
• Work closely with installers and roofing teams to deliver clean, professional installations.
• Complete job paperwork and sign-off documentation accurately.

What you will need

• NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition qualifications.
• Testing and Inspection 2391 or equivalent.
• An up-to-date ECS card and industry training.
• Solar PV and battery qualifications.
• At least two years of solar installation experience.
• At least three years of electrical experience.
• Good attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time for nationwide projects.
